What If They Reject Me

Rasa penyesalan seringkali menghampiri , rasa percaya diri musnah begitu saja. Kita seolah tanpa arah, tanpa tujuan, terhenti. Kita menyalahkan diri, lingkungan, bahkan nasib. Kita mengasihani diri sendiri.
It’s our choice.
Bagaimana caranya kita untuk bangkit? Bagaimana caranya kita untuk menghadapi penolakan tersebut? Bagaimana caranya aku untuk menyembuhkan diri? Aku menerima.Aku memaafkan. Aku melupakan. Aku . Akhirnya. Bangkit.
It’s not over. Masa depan cerah masih di hadapan kita! Ayo, semangat! J

Talent as a tool to inspire!

Everyone has their own background, their own problems, their own journey. Life isn’t as easy as reciting your A,B,Cs or counting 1-10. Everyone knows that life has their own challenges and they have their own way to teach us a lesson. Some see it as ‘problems’ while others prefer to name it ‘opportunities’. What makes life worthwhile, though? What makes people want to hold on and fight for their life? What makes people fight back and seem so strong? Simply, hope. Simply, inspiration.
What is inspiration? Inspiration is making other people think “Yes, you’re right. If you can do that, why can’t I?”. Inspiration is doing something or saying something that can strengthen other people when they are down. Inspiration is sharing your journey and telling your story of how you got back up after falling, in order for others to gain hope.
I call myself the soul fixer. You probably have an idea of what I do. I fix broken, hopeless, scared, sad souls. Having so many challenges through life and having the experience to deal with the things that I still can't believe I went through, I not only found the meaning of life, but also found the reason why I was born into the world: to inspire.
How do I inspire? I don’t inspire by having a program or through an event, at least, not yet. I inspire by sharing my experience, my struggles, and my comebacks at it. Right now, I am the social media admin for a youth organisation and it gives me the opportunity to motivate youth all around the world, at least Indonesia, through websites and applications such as twitter, facebook, etc. I give them hope when they are down, I give them strength when they are weak. I give them the spirit to keep going and hold on.  I make them feel confident in themselves and I try my best to help them figure out their talent, the reason why they were born. I share my life experience and give them pointers on how I handled things and how I managed (yet still don’t believe) to survive. I write short inspirational stories for the youth to read in hopes that it can strengthen them and make them spirited and inspired to reach their dreams. I inspire using the power of internet and  words, in hopes that I can help other people to be as tough and strong as I am now.
I believe that each and everyone of us are given our own “weapon” in surviving life. Some may call it a gift, ohers may call it “talent”. It’s what makes us special, it’s what makes us unique. Our talent/gift are supposed to be the reason why we live. We’re supposed to embrace it and make some use out of it. If our talent s singing, we should sing. If it’s writing, we should write. If it’s dancing, we should dance. If it’s designing, we should design. We should be able to live up our talent, our gift, our passion, no matter what stands in our way.
Eventhough what I do may look like a small contribute , so small that it can’t even be measured, I am still very passionate in what I do. I try to at least inspire one person each day to strengthen them and make them believe what I believe: “We’re strong to face ANYTHING!”
I believe that each and everyone of us were born to be somebody. That in the end, whatever challenges and problems we face are there to make us be a better person and build our character. That we are supposed to get through each challenge and problem with confidence and we should never ever back down  or give up. We should have faith and hope in every step of life we make. At the end, when we “win” in life, when we succeed or during our journey to get there, I believe that we are supposed to share our story with other people and encourage them to be strong as we used to. I may not be successful now, I’m still on my way there, but I am doing what I know I was born to do, and what I am desperately passionate for: encouraging people and giving them the energy to keep going by sharing my words and experiences in life. With every problem I face, with every challenge I passed, I become stronger. I become tough. This is me, my story, my talent. This is me, trying to change and inspire the world.

Dian Aditya Ning L ‏@dikuditya
[Change is something that happens gradually, it needs hard work, and it definitely needs a will. And, the change has to make the conditions now more better! If we don't change towards a better condition, why change at all?]

Farhah Inayah T. ‏@Farhahit

[Change doesn't have a purpose, te changemakers do. Change is definite. It can come fast, or slow, deliberate, or not deliberate. It will come]

Harri Cipta Dyanda ‏@harricd
[Change isn't just a bad condition becoming good one, but it's more of a good condition becoming better. A bad situation turning into a good one is usual, but something good that we can change into becoming something better... is EXTRAORDINARY]

Faried Miftah @mod_faried
[Change is something that's different from all the others,
it can be temporary, or forever]

Anthony Wijaya @Anthony_Wijaya_
Change is a process to become a new you in a positive way!

CHANGE:) According to me!

Change.. is something we face each day..
It's something we can't avoid.
Like it or not, everyday we face a brand new date, a brand new day, a brand new challenge. Every second, something happens. We can't help it. The fact it, nothing stays the same.
But what we could do, is make sure that the change makes the condition better, not worse. The least that we could do, is make the change worth it.

What is change?
Change is a transformation. A difference.
Change is hope. Hope of making a better and brighter world.
Change is a process.
Change is a will.
Coz it takes more than just a dream to make a change. It takes commitment.

In hence, for me. Change is the result of a process that 'changemakers' did, in order to make a difference.

Who's the changemaker?

That's easy.

It's you and me. It's us.

WE are the generation that lots are hoping for.

WE are the generation that HAS to bring change.

WE have to inspire! :)

Why?
Because change starts from you and me.

Let's change, shall we? ;)

Human Rights.. As a whole.. From my view..

Hey peeps!

Basically, today I'm going to talk about what I feel Human Rights really is.
Of course, it logically means that we humans have some rights, things that we can do freely.
Like.. for instance. Freedom of speech.
Basically, we can have opinions about things/people/politicians. We have the right to speak. The right to think. The right to imagine.

From what I can see, Indonesia still isn't purely cured from the Soeharto era in 1998 (whereas the freedom of speech was violated).
Sometimes, society still thinks the freedom of speech is something to be controlled, uniformed. And some are even ashamed to even think something's that's different from others.
Reality is.. the mind is free. We can't stop it.
We also have the right to have a home. The right to have a good education. The right...  to pray and worship our God.
The right.... to build a church/mosque/any other worship homes.

This right. Has been violated. Enough.

In 2011, a church in Bogor, GKI Yasmin, was suddenly attacked by one religious organization.
In 2011, people in Cinere, asked for permission to build a church, HKBP Cinere, and was REJECTED.
In 2012, a church in Kelapa Dua, was SEALED.
In 2012, a church in Bintaro was DISMISSED.

There are more. This isn't all.

Worst part is, it's like there's no support or word whatsoever from the government.

This is not a personal battle. I do not know any people from the victims of those human right violations.
But I do know this.
These people tried to fight, they tried to hold their head up high and fight for their rights.

If the government won't even TRY to help them, I will. If I have to fight and face those organizations myself. I will.

Why?

Because this isn't only a human rights violation, but also our motto: #BhinnekaTunggalIka that's also been violated.

Indonesia is a beautiful country, multicultural, wrapped with differences.
#BhinnekaTunggalIka , means Different, but united. Different, but tolerant. Different, and respect those differences:")

Why is it so hard to accept that someone is different?

Youth in Indonesia has to have #BhinnekaTunggalIka on their mind and in their heart.

It's our duty to make Indonesia better!

It's our duty to make Indonesia brighter!

It's our duty to make Indonesia UNITED!
